Post Buying plants from my local greenhouse nursery

Over the past few years I have been buying my starter plants from our local greenhouse nursery and generally speaking, I’ve been pretty satisfied with what I’ve bought. This year, however, I found that the prices have increased quite a bit and the plants don’t seem quite as healthy as they were in the past. Is it possible that they are skimping on the care of their plants to save money? This experience has made me consider building my own small greenhouse and grow my own starter plants. How expensive is it to build a small greenhouse just for my personal use? Can you give me some idea of what I will need to put something like this together? I am positive I would be able to maintain it; I’m just not sure I’ll be able to afford the upfront cost of it. If you can give me some information on this I would be very grateful.
