Post What pots are the pits?

I live in a small condominium and have very little room to have a real garden. I’ve decided that I will use garden pots to grow flowers and even some vegetables but I’m not sure which types of pots are best. What I need to know is what kind of pot is best for growing herbs, tomatoes, peppers, and various types of plants and flowers? I need to know how deep they need to be and how many plants I can put in each pot. When I went to the local gardening outlet there were so many different types of pots I couldn’t decide what I needed so I just left empty handed. I thought it would be best to ask somebody who is an expert concerning this subject so that I don’t buy pots that aren’t durable or sufficient for my needs. I don’t want to spend a great deal of money on these pots but I don’t want to go too cheap either. You get what you pay for, so the story goes, and I just want to make sure I am making a wise and informative decision. Thank you in advance for your advice and help.
