My Husband And His Toy's

My husband and I are devoted gardeners and have worked very hard to maintain a beautiful flower garden as well as a productive vegetable garden. Every year, it seems, my husband finds a new and improved gadget to make our gardening easier, however, most of the time these gadgets end up being more trouble than they are worth. What gardening equipment do you suggest as being most important to have as well as easiest to use? Are there any new and improved gardening gadgets that you suggest we try that actually work like they are supposed to? Personally, I enjoy spending time in the garden, pulling weeds with my own two hands. It just seems natural to me to get my hands dirty to produce something so beautiful. When we began gardening, years ago, all we had was a tiller, spade, and a hoe. Now our shed is full of equipment I would just assume get rid of. I’d like your opinion on this matter so hopefully I can say, “I told you so”. Thank you for your help.
