Default How to Grow a Beautiful Lawn?

I have two acres of lawn on my property and generally speaking it looks ok, but it’s not as green and thick as I would like it to be. It’s not the kind of lawn that you enjoy walking barefoot across and that is what I’m looking for; a soft, green lawn. Is there anything I can do to improve the quality of my lawn without having to spend a fortune doing so? What time of year is best to sow grass and what kind of fertilizer is best to make it grow thick and strong? As it is now, it doesn’t seem to grow quickly as I only have to mow once every two weeks, even though we are getting plenty of rain. I’m worried there is something that is causing my lawn to be stunted in growth and I really need to know how to fix this problem. I enjoy mowing my lawn and would like to be able to spend more time doing so. What do you think is going on with my lawn and do you think it can be fixed?
